About the Project
I have long enjoyed travel; I find that experiencing the sensations of being in new surroundings and interacting with other cultures has made a real difference in my life. The experiences of travel have opened me to awareness of other possibilities of ways to be in the world; looking at other artists’ work from elsewhere has also expanded my perceptions. The pictures that I have created while travelling, or from my memories of trips I have taken, have enabled me to experience these feelings anew. I hope that these pictures can also help those see my work to share in these feelings, and to be stimulated to recall their own experiences of travel.
