LIFE

Born and raised in Pennsylvania. Began drawing at age three, copying Leonardo's Last Supper and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel at age five; began painting about the same time; continued drawing and painting. Ten years' undergraduate and graduate studies. Married, divorced, remarried, gave birth to a daughter, was widowed and remarried. Studied and drew from drawings, paintings, sculpture and architecture nearly everywhere in France, Italy and Greece; spent last twelve summers in southern France, painting mostly landscapes. Represented by galleries in New York, southern France, Italy, California and Florida; sold many paintings, acquired a following. Created syllabus and taught life drawing to medical students at Georgetown, continue to teach undergraduate and medical students and medical personnel at Columbia University, at The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia, and at New York University. Kept on--keep on--drawing, painting, drawing, painting, drawing----and painting.
